“Dylan: son of the sea, born from the ocean.”

It’s no wonder I’ve always had a deep love for the sea — it’s even in my name! I’ve spent a good chunk of my life in the water. During my undergrad at Chapman University, I was captain of the Water Polo team. These days you can find me swimming, surfing, body surfing, surf matting (it’s a thing), and prone paddling to Catalina (more on that below).

What is Wet Wednesday?

A group I started for Prone Paddlers that meets every Wednesday night in preparation for the Ben Carlson charity paddle from Catalina Island to Newport Beach (30 Miles). My goal was to form a community of like minded individuals who wanted to search for a challenge — paddling (and striving) for something bigger than themselves.

Over the years it’s turned into a great group and big inspiration. I look forward to my Wednesday nights!
